Heather came to Anaheim on Wednesday. We got to go shopping for art supplies. Our favorite place is Art Supply Warehouse. Then we went to Pearl in Huntington Beach only to find it had closed. The building was empty except for a few stray cardboard boxes. So another one bites the dust.
On Tuesday night we went to the Asian Buffet in Buena Park CA. It's one of my favorite all you can eat restaurants. And believe me, we ate all we could. Heather's going to have to work out a lot when she gets back to Atascadero. Between Halloween and relatives, I think all of us have eaten too much lately. I'm sure Heather will hit the gym as soon as she gets home, and I need to walk a lot more while the weather is still so beautiful out.

Weddings
Maybe I should have named this blog Heather Does Weddings. Her wedding photography business is going well. She even booked a wedding on Halloween day at a cemetary.
So if you need a wedding photographer anywhere between Paso Robles CA and Santa Maria, CA you might leave me a comment here and I'll pass it on.
Here is Heather dressed as a French photographer for Halloween.

Rainbow Scarf
Both of my daughters are really into rainbows right now. On her last visit Heather picked up some yarn to make a rainbow scarf and she already has it listed in her Etsy shop. I feel like a slacker. That was quick. I'm still working on a moss green scarf I started ages ago. http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=22159459

Family visiting
I'm so excited. Both of my daughters are coming to visit next week and bringing the grandson. Woot! My older one has a business meeting down here so she's bringing the other one along. I haven't seen the baby in a few months and they grow so fast. My apt. is an art studio so I'm going to have to do some major rearranging to have company though. I can't even squeeze three more people in here right now.

Snow in Atascadero
Sorry you don't feel well. Hope you get back on your feet real soon. At least you got to see the snow. Our local mountains got a record amount of snow. The skiers and snowboarders will be very happy.
I have archery tomorrow and I didn't even get my stuff together. I honestly don't know what I want to do there. Somehow I don't work on my archery projects between one meeting and the next so I feel like I'm always starting over. I need to make a new quiver. Mine's a wreck. Maybe I'll take the gourd quiver I started and add some beads to it. That's a thought.
Do you remember when we did atlatls? A bunch of people are getting ready for an atlatl competition in Las Vegas soon.
I hope it doesn't rain in the morning. It's a long drive if we get rained out. It's in Pasadena.
Hang in there.

Heather visited me
Heather came down with hubby to celebrate my birthday and go craft shopping. She doesn't have a Joann's where she lives so we went to their sale and she got demos of the sewing machines and we both bought some yarn. She got these really cool bronze crochet hooks for Christmas.
The photo of us together was taken at Downtown Disney.
