My grandson was born yesterday after about 60 hours of labor. I was on pins and needles let me tell you. I'm happy mother and baby and daddy are now resting comfortably after the long ordeal. The hospital is even treating them to a steak dinner tonight. I can't wait to see the little tyke. Well, not so little. He weighed 10 lb.s 4 oz. when he was born, Three ounces more than his mother when she was born. The Dr. said it was the second largest baby she'd ever delivered by the normal route, and the other one was only 1 oz. bigger.
Weston is my 2nd grandson. My other daughter has a son named Hudson. I guess they'll have to name the next baby Preston or Madison.
In other news, Heather is almost ready to open her art and photography gallery in downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. She's going to be one busy bee.

Grandson Number Two is On the Way
Heather is in labor. Her sister Tiffany is with her to be her birth coach. Kyle is there too. I think one of his sister's in there. Heather sounded tired on the phone and that was at 5:30 PM. The baby is expected at midnight, Dec. 3, the very date I predicted a few weeks ago. I also think his hair will be blond and he'll look like his daddy. We'll see. I wish I was there. But my boyfriend just explained all the reasons I'm not, namely it's 300 miles away, taking the train is a hassle, and I have no where to stay and no one to go with.
At any rate, my heart is with her, and I'm waiting by the phone for any news. But I'm not sure anyone will call me, because I didn't specifically ask them to.

Heather is Busy
Heather has been super busy lately. Not only is she expecting in early December, and just left the theater on maternity leave, but she's also opening a new photo and art studio in downtown San Luis Obispo, CA. In short, she is living my dream! Brat! Haha. And hubby just got her a pottery wheel and a kiln for her birthday.
I'd post photos, but Blogger's photo feature is having a tantrum.

More Weddings
I'm so happy that Heather has booked some more weddings. And she got hired on by another wedding photographer to do editing and such. I would say she definitely has her foot in the door.

New Wedding Photography Website
Heather redid her website. It looks great over at http://www.heathermillenaar.com/.
Recently Heather had a mishap at work with an evil popcorn machine. She's been planning to seque into doing wedding photography full time so I hope she can soon. If only the economy would cooperate. She does weddings from Paso Robles all the way down to Santa Barbara CA and is now taking bookings. If you are planning a wedding on Valentine's Day or 10/10/10 or any day in mid May through June, you might want to book it immediately as those dates are sure to get snapped up.
